Gateway check
There are 3 LED indicators on the Dell gateway, as shown in the image and table below. Here, we will explain the different scenarios related to different LED combinations:
When the gateway operates correctly, the power and modem connection LEDs will be continuously green.
If the power LED is off, the gateway is not receiving power.
-Check whether the connector is firmly pressed into the gateway.
-Test the installation wire using a certified multimeter. To achieve this, position one microprobe into a connector of the power supply and one in a random port of the gateway.
If the power LED is orange, a startup error occurred. In this case, reset the gateway by disconnecting it from the power supply adapter and the switch. Reconnect the gateway after the LEDs have been off for 10 seconds.
If the Samotics cloud connection LED is not on, the cloud connection has been interrupted. In this case, reset the gateway by disconnecting it from the power supply adapter and the switch. Reconnect the gateway after the LEDs have been off for 10 seconds. The cloud LED will only turn on once all applications are started. This might take a few minutes.
