During the installation process, Samotics has shared login credentials for the onboarding portal. Either you or a co-worker has previously accessed the portal to enter technical details on the assets.
You can either link DAQs to assets via a mobile device or via a desktop. Both methods are explained below.
Notice It is extremely important that the DAQ is connected to the correct motor ID. If you connect an incorrect DAQ to the motor ID, the information of another DAQ will be shown in the system as the information for this motor ID.

The most convenient way to link DAQs to assets is via a mobile device.Â
Visiting onboarding.samotics.com in your regular mobile browser will bring you to the commissioning page as shown on the right.
To add a serial number of a DAQ, select the camera icon and scan the QR-code that is available on the DAQ. This will automatically enter the serial number.
Please double-check whether you scanned the right QR code and confirm by clicking on the checkmark.

Please visit onboarding.samotics.com and enter the login credentials
Navigate to the installation phase in the portal and select the asset you want to link a DAQ to.
Here you can manually enter the serial number which is printed on the DAQ.
