Installation steps

Before starting the installation steps, please make sure to:

• Switch off all power supply equipment before you start to install SAM4 in the control cabinet.
  Notice Wait at least ten minutes after switching off all the power supply equipment before starting activities. Internal capacitors of the Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) may need a discharge period after having been switched off. The risk of suffering serious electric shocks continues to be present within this period.

• Use an approved and certified multimeter to confirm that the control cabinet is voltage-free.

After completing all the steps of this chapter (install hardware) and the subsequent chapter (connect to motor), your SAM4 setup will be consistent with the below wiring diagram.
